While huge believers in the hire and rental model the truth is not all businesses enjoy a smooth ride. Today it has been announced that Wrexham-based firm Jolly Good Vehicle Rentals is set to enter liquidation next month. Based at the Pandy Industrial Estate in Wrexham the firm has allegedly called on the help of insolvency firm, Parkin S Booth and Co, employing them to kickstart the process on November 3rd.
With other Jolly Good Van Hire franchises in Deeside, Crewe, Ely, Shrewsbury and Telford, many have been worried bout the impact this will have on the brand. However, company representatives have progressed words of optimism, saying that other branches will not be harmed by the movement’s of the Wrexham base.
A spokesman for Parkin S Booth and Co said:
“We have been instructed to assist the Directors of Jolly Good Vehicle Rentals Limited to Liquidate the company.
“The company will proceed into Liquidation on 3 November 2016. This company operated from a depot in Wrexham.
“We are not instructed on any other company trading under the style of ‘Jolly Good Van Hire’.
“There are several other outlets which operate under different Limited Companies which are not involved in this liquidation.”
