The company which has branches across 25 UK locations have been bought by Boels and will now be branded as Boels in the future.
Boels Rental is the largest equipment rental company in Europe and has successfully acquired the share capital of Supply UK Group.
Supply UK Group was founded in 1998, and even though it will now be branded under another name it’s been reported that Chris Haycocks will still be its managing director.
Boels rental started 40 years ago and now operates in more than 350 locations in Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia, Austria and Luxembourg.
Haycocks said: “Boels investment will enable us to offer an ever increasing selection of new equipment during our next phases of growth.”
Managing director of Boels Rental, Pierre Boels, has added: “The UK is the largest market for equipment and tool rental in Europe, so it was a natural step for us, having found the right team in Supply UK that shares our customer service values.
“The rental concepts we will bring, together with continued investment in new equipment and facilities, will work well for customers in the UK.”
