German rental giants, Sixt, have this week shared details of another move to build out their corporate client base. Launching what many are calling a ‘unified corporate package’ Sixt say they have been under pressure to roll out a product like this for some time. Allowing businesses to build hire and lease packages from the ground up, Sixt said it will now be “aligning its sales structure to its corporate clients’ changing mobility needs.”

As part of the offer, the brand gives businesses the chance to access a range of leasing products in addition to short and long-term rental. This includes truck hire as well as “mobility as a service”.

Offering ‘customised mobility solutions from a single source’, this venture will see senior vice president of group sales, Vinzenz Pflan, at the helm. Having spent six years as chief commercial officer for Fleet Logistics International; he boasts the B2B knowledge to get this new package and sales structure off of the ground.

As part of the management restructure, Oliver Popkowitz will  assume the role of senior director for SME and digital sales; again boasting a great deal of experience in the  forever-in-development car rental industry.

Enjoying a 6-year spell as head of corporate sales for various European subsidiaries, there couldn’t be a better person for the job.

Whilst tasked with taking the lead on this project, both men will report to Konstantin Sixt; the group’s chief sales officer.
