IFC Fleet Services has today announced that they partnered with rental management specialist, Goodwood Rental, a meeting of minds that will add value to fleet operators. Focusing on vehicle rental and mobility services the two firms aim to streamline the way in which fleet operators practice, merging their businesses to provide a full suite of rental solutions.
IFC currently provides fleet management, mileage capture and vehicle logistics services, therefore, this move is a logical next step, joining forces with Goodwood Rental to offer clients wider access to vehicles. Said to be working with over 500,000 units this merger will join the companies’ rental and mobility capabilities, a coalition that IFC managing directors, Paul Talot, is excited to action:
“The Goodwood portfolio fits very well with our own as we have provided daily rental services to other clients for some time now, and we see this as a natural extension of the fleet services package that we provide to our customers.
“At the same time, this move will also provide cross-over access for Goodwood customers to a complete portfolio of fleet services that they would not previously have been able to access.”
Wanting to place more focus on the corporate market Goodwood Rental will allow IFC to add multiple strings to their bow. Tony Donnelly, chief executive officer of Goodwood Rental, said:
“We have seen a move towards longer rental periods in the corporate market and our mini-lease product, which provides rental vehicles for up to 12 months to meet the medium-term requirements of corporate customers, has become increasingly popular and relevant in today’s fast-changing marketplace.”
