Former employee of collapsed coach operator launches her own coach company

There is some good news at last for customers wishing to book a coach holiday in East Anglia as a new company has been launched recently by a former employee of Harrison’s Holidays, the Norfolk based coach holiday provider which collapsed last November.

Trish Sparks worked at the now defunct coach tour provider, Harrison’s Holidays, which went into administration at the end of last year. After Ms Sparks’ bid to buy the failing company was rejected, she set about launching her own coach operation, creating jobs for five of her former colleagues who had also worked at the collapsed coach holiday company.

East Anglia Holidays was born, and the new coach tour provider celebrated its first successful tour recently. To date, the new coach provider has undertaken two trips; a mystery tour and a coach holiday to the Manchester Ship Canal.

The next few months are shaping up to be a busy time for the newly formed East Anglia Holidays as the company estimates they will run on 10 tours a month on average between June to September, and plans are already underway to produce a brand new brochure full of new coach tours in October.

Harrison Holidays was bought out by Oz Bus in November, however the company’s second chance was short lived as Oz Bus announced they had been forced to cease trading in April of this year.
