Tool hire company, Speedy, have launched a brand new service whereby they will have construction sites up and running with a broadband internet connection within just 14 days, although more often than not, within just five days, which is far faster than the services offered by other major competitors in this sector.
The Speedy Sky Service is already attracting the attention of leading construction contractors including Carillion and Balfour Beatty. The internet connection service is being rolled out internationally by the tool rental firm including most of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
Offering download speeds of 10MB and upload speeds of 2MB, and the assurance of setting up a reliable and fast broadband connection via Ka-band satellite even in remote locations and areas of bad terrain where 3G or canopy, it’s not hard to see why the new service is creating a stir in the construction industry.
Like any modern workplace, modern building sites need a speedy internet connection to ensure projects are able to run to time. Without a reliable internet connection, building projects can run into all sorts of problems with information and reports not being received on time, which can lead to jobs running over schedule and costing more money.
The Speedy Sky Service is ideally suited to temporary internet connections as there is no minimum contract period. All technical support, hardware and site surveys are also included as part of the service.
