After experience such a great response bike hire scheme, Bike & Go, have decided to launch at Moorfields, making it their second city centre facility.
Currently operating in a variety of train stations, including Liverpool Central, bike rental is really taking off in Merseyside, with the brains behind the scheme excited to see residents travelling in a more eco-friendly manner.
David O’Leary, Bike & Go director, says:
“We’re delighted to open a Bike & Go facility in such a thriving part of the city.
“We fully expect Bike & Go to be popular with business people who want an environmentally friendly and cheap way to travel around the city centre and beyond for work and meetings.
“The location is also great for day trippers who can pick up a bike and use it to explore all Liverpool has to offer, without worrying about fees mounting up or having to locate a docking station as all bikes come with their own lock.”
This latest move only adds value to the £40 million investment to overhaul all five underground stations on the network, with the area expected to see a big tech injection and heaps of modernisations.
Free bike rental
