Social Media giants, Facebook, are seeming to have their fingers in all sorts of pies of late, doing all they can to increase revenue and remain relevant in the face of new competitors. Just this week, the NASDAQ tech firm has announced their introduction into the world of home rental, now listing rentals on their platform.
A partnership with OnTheMarket.Com
To roll out this extra offering on their site, Facebook has partnered with property portal, OnTheMarket.com. Together, they look to dominate this already-crowded market, giving OnTheMarket.Com’s ads more exposure by being strategically placed on Facebook’s Marketplace section.
According to Facebook, users will now be able to apply all sorts of filters, put well and truly in control of their rental home search. Through Facebook, consumers will be able to filter by property type, price, the number of bedrooms and much more.
