JCB has this week announced details of an exciting order. According to the vehicle and equipment manufacturer, they have received a sizable order from Dutch plant hire firm, Boels.
As a deal that has been valued at close to £21m, the order will put JCB in good standing for the year.
Eequesting 340 machines, Boels have made the largest single order JCB has ever received. This includes Loadalls, midi excavators as well as a large number of micro excavators.
Thrilled to have be chosen to process this order, the JCB Group’s Managing Director of Global Key Accounts, Yette Henshall-Bell, said:
“We are delighted to secure this major order from one of Europe’s leading plant and tool hire companies.”We have worked closely with Boels for many years and it’s testament to the quality of our range of Loadalls and excavators as well as the world-class service back-up that we’ve secured this valuable business.”
Equally as excited to put the wheels in motion with this deal is Boels, with their Director of Fleet Operation, Guy Cremer, said the following:
“Boels Rental is one of the largest rental companies in Europe and we continue to grow year on year by increasing our fleet with the best equipment available.
“Our decision to buy JCB machines was based on the quality and efficiency of the product, as well as the excellent after-market support we receive from JCB throughout Europe.
“Boels and JCB are both family businesses sharing many common values and I am glad that our long-standing partnership continues.”
Set to possess the leading machines in the whole industry, this sale will provide a huge boost to both companies, seeing these market-leading machines dotted throughout depots in Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Austria and Italy. But, this is not the first time the Dutch firm has bought directly from the Staffordshire digger company. Over the past five years Boels as a business has spent millions with JB; purchasing over 1600 of their machines.
