For companies such as Thrifty Car Rental and Enterprise Rent-a-Car, a great deal of business is conducted through airports. Allowing them to get right in front of their target market, you will notice the growing number of car rental firms found at airports in the UK and across the globe. This week, international car hire firm, Thrifty Car Rental, has announced further details of their expansion, placing a great deal of focus on Dubai.
Already having a strong presence at Dubai International (DXB), this expansion will see a second facility introduced. Giving the brand more recognition from the influx of tourists heading to Dubai, Managing Director, Rahul Singh, passes comment:
“We are happy to announce the opening of our second counter at Terminal 3, which is specifically designed to improve customer convenience and engagement and provide the best possible rental experience for travellers to the UAE. Thrifty promises to deliver superior service and convenience to all its customers that sets it apart from the other competitors.”
Now positioned at 52 destinations of the EUA, the facility will be promoting both short and long-term car rental solutions. But, why are so many rental firms setting up in Dubai?
Seeing a huge increase in car rental activity, Dubai has over the past 5 years become a millennial hotspot. Recently named as the second-best city in the world for luxury travellers, Thrifty’s latest venture makes complete commercial sense.
Market speculations point towards another surge in car hire activity in Dubai. Through this move, Thrifty has simply secured their presence, ensuring they are a car hire supplier of choice.
