In the town of Wilmslow, a family run men’s tailoring firm has launched a brand new store.

Whitfield & Ward’s luxuriously decorated store is situated across two floors and includes a reception area, private changing rooms, a dedicated hire department and separate space for bespoke suiting.

The store is said to have been acquired by fundraising support from the Royal Bank of Scotland. The new property is said to be 3,800 sq ft and has provided the firm with additional space to ‘help improve its retail operations and enhance the customer experience’.

During the last four years, Whitfield & Ward, which offers both bespoke tailoring and hiring, has experienced strong levels of company growth.

Currently the firm employs nine members of staff and specialises in bespoke suits, wedding suit hire, morning suit hire, formal hire and dinner jackets.

In order to support the acquisition of the new premises, the Royal Bank of Scotland have awarded the company with a six figure funding deal.

Craig Whitfield, owner of Whitfield & Ward, said: “We are really pleased with our new premises.

“Not only do they look great and provide the customer with a really comfortable and enjoyable experience, but the added space has enabled us to make improvements to the service that we provide. Our previous store on Altringham Road was much smaller than this one and due to space confinements the customer experience was not what we wanted it to be.

“The improved layout has helped us to make the whole process more smooth and efficient and we couldn’t be happier with the way it is running.”

It is clear that he is excited about the company’s prospects and bright future. We wonder if there will be another shop opening soon.
