Recognised for their impeccable fleet the UK’s largest car rental firm, Avis, has this week announced a newcomer, adding the DS 5 to their impeccable collection for rental purposes. Providing customers with a wealth of options it was important to add this particular car to their options list, with the DS 5 referred to as an ‘upmarket hatchback’, being much more than a car to get you from A to B. Sat neatly in the compact executive segment, the DS 5 competes with vehicle like the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series, as well as mainstream options like the Volkswagen Passat and Ford Mondeo.
Talking through the features of the vehicle Auto Express, the most trusted review site, writes:
‘It’s certainly distinctive. With a bold front end that ditched its predecessor’s double chevron grille and familiar Citroen face in favour of a new design referred to as the ‘DS wings. The design is distinctly bolder than other models in this class, and there’s a similar story inside, with loads of quirky details and a smattering of high quality materials on the dash.’
Nina Bell, managing director of northern region of Avis Budget Group, said:
“We’re really proud to be the only car rental company to offer the DS 5 to our customers.”
Giving the firm exclusivity Avis is constantly making these types of efforts, maintaining their position within this crowded industry. With so many rental firms popping up all over the UK it is important that Avis employs that forward-thinking quality, setting the benchmark in which others endeavour to follow.
