The Only Way is Essex sisters, Billie and Sam Faiers have revealed they plan to hire bodyguards to protect them when out in the public after both reality show stars were attacked by a girl gang during a night out in Central London.
The pair admitted they feel so shaken following the attack that they are looking into hiring security to ensure a repeat attack doesn’t occur. 20-year-old Sam had to undergo a brain scan after she was beaten unconscious by the group of ten girls, suffering two black eyes, a split nose and numerous bruises and scratches to her body and face.
The incident occurred after 21-year-old Billie was surrounded on the dance floor at London night spot, the Jet Black Club, with the gang of girls stealing her £1,500 Mulberry handbag which contained cash, her mobile phone and house keys, before beating her to the floor.
After the gang made off with the TOWIE stars belongings, her sister Sam received a phone call from one of the attackers who’d stolen Billie’s mobile telling her she’d give the mobile back if she met her at a specified location. When Sam went to meet with the girls as agreed, she was set upon by 10 of them who attacked her repeatedly.
A spokesperson for the TOWIE sisters confirmed that they will be hiring security staff to shadow the girls whenever they feel they need it.
In an interview with The Sun tabloid newspaper this week, Sam Faiers described how terrifying the whole ordeal was, and admitted she would be giving the night club where the initial altercation took place, a very wide birth from now on. The 20-year-old model also added that she and her sister would be hiring bodyguards for their future safety.
