Leading UK tool hire provider, HSS Hire, have revealed plans to open a brand new distribution centre in Bristol which will become key to the company’s operations throughout the South West of England and in Wales.
The national tool and equipment rental provider will create a new distribution base at the 30,000 square foot purpose built facility which HSS Hire say will enable them to offer a more accessible service and also specialist in-house training facilities. The vast building also offers storage across two levels meaning a huge range of tools and equipment can be stored at the new centre.
The existing HSS Hire centre in Bristol will be closed, with all staff being transferred to the new supercentre. An additional 30 staff members will also be employed by HSS to join the existing workforce as the tool hire provider invests further in its future in the South West region.
HSS Hire say the new supercentre in Bristol will enable the tool rental company to better serve the South West and Wales, as well as supporting its UK wide network of hire services. The move to the larger premises on the Aztec Business Park is in line with the company’s strategy in which they plan to move away from smaller branches in town and city centres, and towards larger centre based out of town on industrial estates and retail parks.
