American car rental company, Hertz, have revolutionised in-car entertainment after launching the world’s first Cinema Car in London. As Hertz celebrate 100 years in the car hire market, the company have made the audacious move to transform a humble Ford Galaxy into an all-action cinema experience.

Complete with velvet curtain, luxurious rear seats, surround sound and a 42″ widescreen TV, Hertz’s latest release is set to take the rental market by storm. Already available to hire from its Marble Arch and Heathrow depots for the rest of this year, Hertz plan to release additional ‘Cinema Cars’ across Europe in the coming weeks. Users in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands will soon be able to take advantage of this unique silver screen experience.

What films are available to watch?

Hertz will offer free, unlimited ‘Go Anywhere’ WiFi in its Cinema Car, offering customers the opportunity to download and watch absolutely anything.
