Traveling over the Christmas period is infamously stressful, with taxis hard to come by, public transport ridiculously busy and getting all the family into the hatchback simply not being an option Understanding these issues, car hire firm, Eurocar, are promising transfers for a humble pound coin, with a simple quid buying you a one-way car hire to hundreds of UK-wide destinations.
Drivers can collect their hired cars from more than 100 routes via the Europcar site, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airport. Proving to be the perfect, cost-cutting solution for those lucky enough to jet away this Christmas, Europcar is opening up this service to pretty much anyone!
Gary Smith, managing director of Europcar UK said: “Our OneWay for £1 car hire service is ideal for anyone looking for a Christmas bargain.
“With over 100 routes available, it doesn’t matter if they’re flying from Glasgow to Bristol or Gatwick to Barbados, customers pick up their hire car at conveniently located city centre locations and drive to the airport – no fuss, no delay, no hassle parking – and all for just £1.”
While a great way to gather interested and get the brand name out there, how are they affording such a generous Christmas gift? Well, this is where the sceptics amongst us have our say, with many believing this deal is actually beneficial to Europcar.
It is expensive for the car hire firm to move vehicles constantly, getting them back to the depots they belong. By using holidaymakers, the firm can deliver the vehicles back to their homes, without having to move a muscle.
