Car hire company, Budget, has revealed the extent of its current expansion plans in the UK after announcing that the car rental giant will open another seven hire outlets throughout the country within the coming year.
The introduction of the seven new car hire centres will bring Budget Car Hire’s tally of rental outlets in the UK to 69. The new Budget car rental outlets will help strengthen the brand’s presence in regional areas of the country.
Two out of the seven new outlets will be based at airports, namely Robin Hood airport near Doncaster in Sheffield, and also Humberside Airport just south of Hull. The other car hire centres will be based in the town and city centres of Newcastle, Liverpool, Bracknell, and two in London based in Euston and Waterloo.
Budget also hopes the introduction of their mobile site will make it easier and more convenient for customers to make bookings for car hire. The mobile site will allow car rental customers to request quotes, view booking details, submit car rental enquiries and cancel or create bookings all via their mobile phone. This service is currently available to customers with iPhones and Android devices, and also iPads and iPod touch.
