As something that Mums and Dads have simply had to fight through for hundreds of years, we have all accepted it. However, one set of parents are looking to hire help to give their children the low-down on the birds\u00a0and the bees. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As a job that they would pay \u00a32,500 for, these Bath parents believe the role is incredibly important. Covering a range of awkward topics, parents are looking for someone to discuss issues\u00a0such as sex, periods and gender.<\/p>\n

While coming under the job title of ‘Part-Time Nanny’, the add has been shared across various social platforms, with many people having their own opinion on whether this is bizarre or an ingenious plan to teach our children about these awkward subjects. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not sure if this is the right place to ask for this kind of help, but here goes. My husband and I are looking to hire someone to give our eight-year-old daughter and seven-year-old son the \u2018talk\u2019.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Like most parents, we were hoping we would have more time before this became a problem; ideally, I\u2019d avoid it altogether! But we\u2019re at the point now where they aren\u2019t satisfied with the answer we\u2019re giving them. I don\u2019t trust the school to do a proper job teaching either of our children about the complexities of puberty, intimacy and consent which is why we\u2019re looking for someone to handle this for us.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Itemising the duties this ‘Part-Time Nanny’ would carry out, chores include teaching the children about consent, same-sex relationships, pregnancy and much more! \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wishing to remain anonymous, the writer behind the post has two children; one girl aged eight and a boy aged nine. The hired help is to teach both children about these subjects, with ‘seminars’ taking place at the family home. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe will not be in the room with you but will be home so the children can come and find us if it\u2019s getting too much for them.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy husband and I are willing to pay \u00a32,500 to the right candidate who can handle this delicately and professionally” the Mum continued. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
