Those looking for a quicker car hire service in London can now access a revolutionary new fast track system that takes away the hassle of queues and rental counters. Europcar, Europe’s leading car hire service, is pioneering an innovative fast track car hire service that allows clients to bypass rental desks.
Known as London Key Ready, this new service piloted at Britain’s capital city allows customers to collect car keys and other documents from a locker instead of queuing up at the rental desk for car hire. The locker, activated by a secure PIN available at the time of online or telephone booking, lets customers immediately drive away in their car hire that is waiting for collection at the Europcar car park. The fast track service saves substantial time that could be spent waiting for the same items from a rental desk. This pioneering service is now available at London’s Kings Cross Station.
Managing director for Europcar UK Group, Ken McCall, said: “We aim to provide customers with as efficient a service as possible for vehicle collection so that they can get on their way with their journey without delay. But London Key Ready takes this one step further, demonstrating our sustained commitment to providing travellers with highest level of convenience, choice and simplicity throughout their journey.”
He continued: “During the trial at our Kings Cross location, selected customers who may be arriving by train will be able walk the short distance to the branch to collect their vehicle key from the designated locker so that they can get on the road in minutes.
