Though only expanding into the US in 2011, Enterprise Rent-A-Car ha built a strong presence across America, now existing as the fourth largest car rental business in the country. Building partnerships in the US all the time, 2018 is no different. Just this week, the car hire giant announced that it was opening its seventh branch in Alexandria, Northern Virginia.

Defining a huge appetite for their services in the area, Enterprise Rent-A-Car are placing this area of the world central in their global expansion plans.

“Our new office in Alexandria reinforces our commitment to meet the growing demand for car rental and mobility options, both locally and on a global scale,” said Michelle Bosch, Vice President and General Manager at Enterprise Holdings, Washington D.C.

Taking on a large office at 5060 Edsall Road, Enterprise Rent-A-Car do have a big job on their hands before cutting the ribbon on the seventh branch. According to sources, extensive renovations need to be carried out on the 4,570-square-foot location. With the brand wanting to convey a message of modernity, the company will transform the office into a top-of-the-range facility. While expected to look the part, the office is also rumoured to boast ‘sustainable features’. These include lighting sensors, eco-friendly cooling and heating systems, recycling bays and much more. By making such efforts, Enterprise Rent-A-Car show their support of Eco-City Alexandria; the city’s campaign to achieve sustainability.

Though all efforts to position the company as a corporately responsible brand, is this enough to separate Enterprise from the area’s other car hire firms? Let us know what you think by leaving your comments below. Alternatively, browse through your UK car hire options on this very site.
