The dressrental company had planned to sell off a large amount of stock in their summer sale,however the event had to be pulled at the last minute after parts of London, Manchesterand Birmingham succumbed to rioters who targeted shops and businesses in city centres.
The Closet dress hire company was set up by Hollyoaks actresses Claire Cooper, JenniferMetcalfe and Leah Hackett, who decided to offer designer dresses as worn by celebrities forhire for girls about town throughout the UK.
In order to renew their supply of designer dresses, The Closet holds a sale at regularintervals to sell off the current season’s dresses to make room for the new arrivals.
