Car HireAce Rent-a-Car has been named the best vehicle hire agents after scoring the highest number of points in the North America Rental car Satisfaction Study from JD Power and Associates. Ace Rent-a-Car beat off competition from much bigger and better known brands to clinch the title, including Enterprise and National.

Winning the best car hire prize as voted for by consumers in North America will certainly help raise the profile of the up and coming car rental provider. Despite never appearing in the poll previously, and being less well known compared to many of their rivals in the study, Ace Rent-a-Car stood out after scoring 793 points based on the feedback from their customers.

With a total of 1,000 potential points available, Enterprise came in second place with 787 points followed by National car hire who was awarded third place in the satisfaction poll with 768 point. Overall the results showed that satisfaction levels amongst car hire consumers was up, with the average number of points standing at 758, which is an increase from last year’s poll which found the average to be 750 points.

The car hire firms are awarded points based on their performance in several areas of their service including the pickup process, fees, costs, the hire cars themselves, their car return process and their shuttle bus service when ferrying customers from airports to the hire cars.

After winning this year’s Consumer Vote, we look forward to seeing how Ace Rent-a-Car builds on this success for next year’s poll.
