British made MG6 cars will be available to hire through leading car rental provider, Avis, from a range of its UK hire centres from early in 2012. The announcement was made just before Christmas, with Avis revealing that they’d already taken delivery of 100 MG6 sports saloon vehicles which would be made available for immediate hire.
The British MG6 cars are all designed and assembled at the manufacturing plant in Birmingham. Avis Car Hire will offer a range of Magnette Sports Saloon and GT fastback versions of the MG6 for hire as part of their national fleet of rental vehicles for 2012.
The sporty cars boast 1.8litre turbo charged engines and Avis states that the models they offer for hire have lower insurance ratings than other cars in the same class. The saloons offer space onboard to transport five passengers comfortably.
The new additions to the Avis car rental fleet will be made available for hire for a whole range of customers including business and corporate customers, as well as holidaymakers and day trip car hire customers.
MG6 say they are delighted to have a well respected car hire company such as Avis representing their brand in the UK, while Avis say they are very pleased to be featuring the British made automobile within their car hire fleet.
